I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. I agree wholeheartedly with your comment. As 1 Peter 5:3 calls us to be “examples to the flock” we as pastors need to pastor our families (which involves significant time devoted to them) as part of our modeling for the flock which God has given to us.
May the Lord grant you the wisdom to balance the heavy demands of the pastorate with the necessary work of shepherding your wee flock.
