Our friends at Crossway Publishers have recently published this new book entitled War, Peace, and Christianity: Questions and Answers from a Just War Perspective which can be obtained here. It is authored by Timothy J. Demy and J. Daryl Charles. Given the state of the nation and the world this is a timely offering. Readers will be interested to know that the authors write not only from a just war perspective but draw heavily from the natural law tradition. The book is a nearly encyclopedic treatment of the topic and well worth the time and money invested in it. As Christians we are called to wrestle with such issues.

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve. (Romans 16:17-18)
