Feeding on Christ is a website dedicated to the grace of God in the Gospel of His Son, to the experimental knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to the advancement of the kingdom of our great God and Savior. Feeding on Christ is a website from Reformed Forum, an organization committed to supporting the Church through the advancement of Reformed theology.
Nicholas T. Batzig is the organizing pastor of New Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA), in Richmond Hill, Ga., a suburb of Savannah, Ga. Nick graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and is enrolled in the Th.M. program at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. Prior to receiving the call to plant a church in RH, Nick served as an intern at Tenth Presbyterian Church, in Philadelphia. He is married to his beautiful wife, Anna, and has three wonderful boys, Micah, Elijah and Judah. Besides being a contributor to Feeding on Christ, Nick is also a regular panelist on Christ the Center and writes for several other blogs on the Reformed Forum. Nick has been a regular contributor to Tabletalk Magazine. Nick’s 2009 lecture on “Edwards, Maclaurin and the Transatlantic Concert” is published in the 2011 Dunedin Press Jonathan Edwards and Scotland.
Camden Bucey is a M.Div. student at Westminster Theological Seminary, in Philadelphia, Pa. He is married to Erica and has a dog named Warfield. Camden is the founder of the Reformed Forum, a website that offers audio and written resources for the Reformed faith and hosts the Christ the Center radio program.
James T. O’Brien has been the pastor of several churches in the PCA. Jim grew up in New Jersey. He has been happily married to Pam for 30 years. They have a daughter, Heather, who is in the 10th grade. Pastor Jim graduated in 1974 with a B.A. in Religion/Philosophy from Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA). He earned his M.A. (summa cum laude) from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where he studied with two distinguished church historians: John Gerstner and Ford Lewis Battles. From 1982-1985 he was the Medieval and Renaissance Fellow at Duke University, studying the history of Christian doctrine. He was called to the pastoral ministry in Raleigh, NC in 1986. For the past 19 years he has served churches in North Carolina and New Jersey. He began his ministry at Reedy River PCA in the Fall of 2003. Jim loves the Reformed faith and takes particular delight in the writings of the 17th century Puritans and the “Old Princeton” theologians of the 19th century. His main area of study is in the doctrine and practice of the Christian life.
Matthew Holst, a native of Cardiff, Wales, is currently a pastor of Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Woodstock, Ga. Matt and his wife Stacey have one son, Garren. Matt graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Jeffrey C. Waddington is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and teacher of the congregation at Calvary OPC in Ringoes, NJ. Jeff is a Ph.D. candidate at Westminster Theological Seminary, in Philadelphia, Pa. and is our resident bibliophile and student of Jonathan Edwards. Jeff is happily married to Ruth and is the proud father of two young ladies, Suzannah and Carolynne. Jeff is also a regular panelist on Christ the Center.
Joel Heflin is a graduate of Regent College (MCS). Joel worked closely under profs. Hans Boresma, J.I. Packer, and Paul Helm, who supervised his thesis on the Puritan and Socinian controversy over election. He has published several papers on seventeenth century and Reformed studies> Joel has also worked for a small publishing company editing and typesetting 17th c. Puritan works. Joel and his family live in Seatle, WA. His personal blog can be found here.
Joseph Randall is a student at Westminster Seminary California. After attending Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Joseph spent a few years at The Bethlehem Institute (TBI) of Bethlehem Baptist Church, in Minneapolis, MN. Joseph is our resident lover of Jesus.
Michael M. Dewalt holds a Bible Certificate from Word of Life Bible Institute, a B.S. in Bible from Baptist Bible College, a M.A.R. in Theological Studies and a Th.M. in Biblical Theology from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He lives in Bel Air, Maryland with his wife Emily.
